There are many scrapbooking embellishment to choose from, which includes such things as metal charms, for instance, which can be added to memorabilia from your childhood, graduation, or wedding days. One idea with metal charms is to attach it by sewing it directly onto the page with thread or embroidery floss. You can also string a wire through the charm and then attach both ends of the wire to secured eyelets. After this, push your ends of the wire into the background where they will be hidden from view.

Brads are another great and extremely functional embellishment. Brads can be used to secure layers of paper together, as well as for a decoration to your scrapbooking pages. Brads are available in all sorts of shapes, colors, and sizes, and they are also inexpensive which means that you can stock up on them, using some when you purchase them and saving the rest for another time.
